BLUESIL L5040L A2 is a silicone oil with diamine functions that meet SVHC , mainly intended for the formulation of textile finishing emulsions

BLUESIL L5040L A2 is particularly suitable as active substance in softener formulations for the impregnation of fibers and textiles.
• Impart a very soft , drapable , and smooth handle to woven and knitted fabric
• The most excellent softening agent for cotton fabrics and knitware made of cotton or cotton/PES blends
• Improves the wash-and-wear properties and the crease recovery angle , sewability and tear strength and reduces abrasion loss
• The effect are fast to washing and dry cleaning

• Low content of D4, d5 and D6, in accordance with EU REACH regulations
• Hydroxyl end capping gives a certain degree of reactivity, which can increase the washability of textiles

BLUESIL L5040L A2 is easy to emulsify into giant emulsion or microemulsion for smooth and soft treatment of fabrics. The emulsion can be easily made by using C13[EO]6 fatty alcohol ethoxy compounds as emulsifiers.

The amino silicone oil BLUESIL L5040L A2 , HAc , NaAc.3H 2 O and surfactant are mixed together, and the water is gradually added to the water until the water is added.
Its emulsion can be used as textile softeners and lubricants. It can be used padding or exhaustion with 0.3% to 1% silicone.its dosage depend on the request of customer

Storage & Packing:

When stored in its original packaging at a temperature between 5°C and 30°C, BLUESIL L5040L A2 may be stored for up to 12 months from its date of manufacture. Comply with the storage instructions and expiry date marked on the packaging.
Beyond this date, Elkem Silicones no longer guarantees that the product meets the sales specifications.
