Linear Block Copolymerized Silicone Low Yellowing Softener Chemicals LT-730
LT-730 is (AB) n linear block copolymerized silicone. It is a medium molecular weight ternary block silicone with self emulsifying, suitable for softening and smoothing finishing of nylon, polyester, cotton, etc. Without silicon spots and low yellowing, LT-730 can be used directly to repair colors and imparts excellent smoothness handfeel and good stability.

It’s suitable for synthetic fiber, such as 100%polyester, acrylic and fleece products, also can be used for 100%cotton or wool spinning fabrics.
Referenced usage (can be adjusted according to actual production)
Process: one dip and one pad or two dips and two pads
Dosage: 1~2%(o.w.f) Liquor ratio: 1:15~20
Emulsifying & diluting method: add LT-730 first, and then add 1.5%~2.5% HAC of total silicone. When stirring evenly, add water slowly in batches and stirring till it’s emulsified. The emulsion will form translucent to transparent emulsion without particles.
Storage & Packing:
Shelf time: Six months when store in cool, dry and shaded warehouse

Recently, the use of multifunctional silicone softeners, especially aminopolysiloxanes (often in microemulsion varieties), has become common. These softeners help to improve material dependency, seam results and other top qualities.
With the use of silicone softeners in the textile industry, silicones are widely used as the main ingredient in the finishing process and combined by mechanical finishing techniques to strengthen fabrics (cellulose and silk). Silicone softeners improve fiber properties by enhancing lightness, elasticity (flexibility) and seam results. Different types of silicone excipients produce varying degrees of softness and finesse. Silicone products have the best flexibility due to the formation of a film layer on the surface of the fibers, with the exception of silk fabrics; ideally with an amino-modified silicone extender.
