Application
Referenced usage (can be adjusted according to actual production)
LT-760(30% emulsion)
☆ Padding:
Dosage:5~30g/L
Process: one dip and one pad or two dips and two pads
☆ Dipping:
Dosage: 2.0~5.0%(o.w.f) Liquor ratio: 1:10~15
Emulsifying & diluting method: add LT-760 first, and then add 1.5%~2.5% HAC of total silicone. When stirring evenly, add water slowly in batches and stirring till it’s emulsified. The emulsion will form translucent to transparent emulsion without particles.
Storage & Packing:
Shelf time: Six months when store in cool, dry and shaded warehouse
Packing: 110KG/plastic drum
Compatibility of other auxiliaries and process need to be checked before application
Silicone is classified as a separate class of artificial softeners and is primarily a polymer, such as an alkyl siloxane, provided in the form of an aqueous emulsion by dispersing silicone oil in water using an appropriate emulsifier.
They have outstanding properties including high stability against chemicals, heat, microorganisms, low surface tension, freedom of rotation, glass transition temperature up to 200°C, low coefficient of failure, good flexibility, environmental compatibility, and more.
The surface of the material finished with silicone is mainly non-polar and hydrophobic for enhanced water drainage results. The amount of textile dehydration depends on the silicone chain length.
